Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Consular Affairs receives the delegation of the Kingdom of Morocco.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, January 30, 2022 (LANA) - The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Consular Affairs, Murad Hemima, received this Sunday morning at the Ministry’s headquarters in Tripoli, the delegation of the Kingdom of Morocco, who is visiting Libya these days to reopen the Moroccan Consulate to begin its consular activities from the capital, Tripoli.
During the meeting, the Undersecretary valued this positive step, which came as a result of the joint efforts of the two sides in facilitating the movement of citizens from both countries, which was the success of holding the first session of the Libyan-Moroccan Joint Consular Committee, in Rabat in October 2021.
The undersecretary expressed the ministry's readiness to provide all the full support to the Moroccan delegation for the success of its mission.
In turn, the Moroccan delegation stressed that the decision to reopen the consulate in Tripoli is aimed at deepening, developing and strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries to serve the two brotherly peoples.
