Presidential Council continues meetings to develop legal framework of the national reconciliation project.

  Tripoli, 30 January 2022 (Lana) The committee assigned with the task of developing legal frameworks that contribute to the success of the national reconciliation project continued its work and held regular meetings, chaired by the Vice President of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, in the presence of the Minister of Justice Halima Ibrahim, and a number of specialists in the legal field, national reconciliation.

Al Lafi reaffirmed during a meeting held at the Council's Office, in Tripoli on Sunday morning, that work to develop legal frameworks continued in contact with specialists in the legal and constitutional field, to reach a draft law that guarantees the success of the comprehensive national reconciliation project, which the Libyan people aspire to, through a general conference on national reconciliation, based on community dialogue, and which will produce a general national charter to be sanctioned by the Libyan people, considering that national reconciliation will bring about transitional justice.
