Williams says after phone conversation with Foreign Minister of Malta: We agreed on the need to restore The Libyan elections to their steady track, intensify and coordinate efforts at the regional and international levels.

  Tripoli, 30 January 2022 (Lana) The UN Secretary-General's Special Adviser on Libya, Stephanie Williams, agreed Saturday with Malta's Minister for Foreign and European Affairs, Evarist Bartolo, that elections should beput back on track in Libya.

 Williams tweeted, following a phone call with Malta's Minister for Foreign and European Affairs, Evarist Bartolo. "I welcomed Malta's unwavering support for the work of the United Nations in Libya, and the need to get the elections on their steady path.’

 We stressed the need to intensify and coordinate efforts at the regional and international levels in support of the Libyan people.
