The Prime Minister discusses with the Ministry of Finance the executive procedures for the unified salary scale and the releases for a number of sectors.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, January 29, 2022 - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, "Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba", reviewed this evening with the Minister of Finance, the Undersecretary for Institutional Affairs and a number of directors of departments in the Ministry, the executive procedures for the unified salary scale.
Dabaiba discussed, during a meeting held at the Cabinet Office in the capital, Tripoli, the releases of workers in the education sector and the allowances for workers in the Social Solidarity Fund, according to what was published by the Prime Minister's media office on his official page.
The meeting also touched upon the measures taken to disburse the rewards of workers in the isolation centers and the need to work on completing these files urgently due to their importance and the delay in completing a number of them.
During this meeting, the Minister of Finance confirmed that the unified salary schedule was referred to the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives to express its observations on it, as well as to the Audit Bureau, to be referred to the House of Representatives at a later time, definitively, to issue the necessary law.
He explained that the Ministry of Finance is following up on all the files that were discussed, and work is underway to complete them during the first quarter of the current fiscal year.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Prime Minister stressed the Minister of Finance in his capacity as Chairman of the Budget Preparation Committee for the year 2022, the necessity of completing it, referring it to the House of Representatives to issue the necessary law for it, and the need to address all the observations received regarding it.
