Almnafi meets follow-up committee for political prisoners of tribes Warfalla - Al-Qadhadhfa - Awlad Suleiman - Al-Magarha.

Tripoli, 27 January, 2022 (Lana) - President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi met, Thursday, in the capital, Tripoli, a delegation from the Follow-up Committee of the Political Prisoners of the Tribes (Warfalla - Al-Qadhadhfa - Awlad Suleiman - Al-Magarha) to discuss the conditions of political prisoners, especially those whose release rules have been issued by the courts and prosecutions, as part of the efforts made by the President of the Presidential Council to achieve comprehensive national reconciliation.

The meeting discussed the conditions in prisons, the file of prisoners and detainees in connection with various political issues, and the recent measures taken to release a number of prisoners, who have release orders, and were implemented during the past period.

In the meeting, the President of the Presidential Council stressed the need to implement laws, respect all values of justice and human rights principles, in a way that enhances the efforts of the Presidential Council to move forward in implementing the comprehensive national reconciliation project, which has been adopted by the Presidential Council since assuming its duties.

 In turn, members of the committee praised the efforts of the Presidential Council in achieving national reconciliation, which represents the lofty goal of affirming the unity of the Libyan soil.
