Al-Lafi discusses with a number of members of the Supreme Council of State issues of concern to the displaced and national reconciliation.

Tripoli, January 18, 2022 (LANA) - The Representative of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, discussed with a number of members of the Supreme Council of State from the eastern region a number of issues of concern to the displaced and national reconciliation.

During a meeting held today in the presence of the Minister of Social Affairs, Wafaa Abu Bakr Al-Kilani, the two sides discussed the situation of the displaced persons in the eastern region and ways to overcome difficulties and obstacles in front of them, and work to protect their administrative and financial rights, in coordination with the competent authorities. During the meeting, the file of prisoners was discussed in general.

Al-Lafi stressed that the file of national reconciliation adopted by the Council pays special attention to all the displaced and displaced from various Libyan cities, and seeks to find safe solutions for their return to their homes, cities and villages, until security, stability and civil peace return to all our cities.

For her part, the Minister of Social Affairs pledged to solve all the problems and obstacles facing the displaced.
