Commemorating the second anniversary of martyrs of Military College students in Tripoli.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 4 January, 2022 (Lana) - The Military College commemorated this morning, Tuesday at its headquarters in Al-Hadba, Tripoli, the second anniversary of the martyrs of the Military College students who were targeted by the treacherous aerial bombardment of the college’s training ground on this day, January 4, last year.
The commemoration of this anniversary was attended by the Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant General, "Mohamed Al-Haddad", the Commander of the Military College, Brigadier General "Mahmoud Al-Ghazali", Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Barani from the Department of Moral Guidance, the chief teacher of the college, Brig Khaled Omar, and the head of the Organization of the Families of the Martyrs and Wounded of the College. The military, Saleh Muhammad Saleh, a number of members of the Libyan army, and the families of the martyrs and wounded students of the college who were betrayed.
The Commander of the Military College, Brigadier General Mahmoud Al-Ghazali, delivered a speech in which he had mercy on the souls of the martyrs of the homeland and those who died in this painful tragedy. On this day, January 4, 2019, he said, we lost the best of the nation's youth who joined the Military College to contribute to the activation of the Libyan army. He added, “In commemorating this anniversary, we live in painful moments with the families of the victims, and we share with them the feelings of grief and sorrow for these martyrs who lost their lives for the sake of the homeland, bearing sincere intentions to contribute to building the military institution, be the protectors of the homeland and achieve its security and stability.”
During the commemoration of this anniversary, a wreath of flowers was laid at the memorial to the martyrs of the Military College, in honor of their pure souls, in addition to a military parade by the advanced and new students in front of the audience in the college yard. The Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lit Gen, "Mohamed Al-Haddad," in his speech, expressed his solidarity and standing with the families of the martyrs and wounded college students who were betrayed. The chief teacher of the Military College, Brigadier General Khaled Omar, expressed in a statement to the Libyan News Agency the extent of sadness, great sorrow and sympathy on this painful anniversary of the martyrdom of the sons of the Military College.
He stressed that the students who survived that treacherous aggression are now officers in the Libyan army, stressing the role of the college in advancing the military institution, calling on the students affiliated with it to show precision and military connectivity to implement the orders of their subordinates and to perform their duty towards their homeland.
