Tripoli, 3 January 2022 (Lana) Libyan National Security Adviser Ibrahim Bushnaf received on Monday in his office in the Council's office in Tripoli, the UN Secretary-General's advisor on Libya, Stephanie Williams, as part of the work to push forward the political process in Libya. Bushnaf and Williams discussed repercussions of postponing the parliamentary and presidential elections, which were scheduled for December 24, on Libya's national security.
Williams stressed the role of Libya's national security adviser in bringing the views of the Libyan parties closer to the upcoming elections on time.
