Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives meets National Security Adviser in Tripoli.

Tripoli, 29 December 2021 (Lana) The Acting speaker of the House of Representatives Fawzi Al-Nueiri met Wednesday afternoon in his office at the House of Representatives in the capital Tripoli, the National Security Adviser Ibrahim Buchnaf to discuss several issues, including the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections.
The Acting speaker of the House of Representatives, reviewed with Bushnaf, the most prominent files on national security and its implications on the stalled elections which were due on December 24th.
The two sides agreed that all Libyan parties should agree on a roadmap that would make the electoral process a success, and ensure that its results were accepted, by addressing all the obstacles that prevented it from being conducted on time.
The meeting also addressed a number of security, political and economic issues, their impact on Libya's national security, and possible solutions mechanisms to address them.
