European Union delegation congratulates the Libyan people on the anniversary of independence, and renews its commitment to support the elections.

Tripoli, December 24, 2021 (LANA) - The European Union delegation congratulated the Libyan people on the 70th anniversary of Libya's independence, renewing its commitment to support Libya in this crucial period.

   In its congratulations, which was published on the social networking page, the mission said that this year's independence anniversary coincides with pivotal events in Libya, where the Libyans and their partners are working to achieve a peaceful transfer of power through free and fair elections.

 On this occasion, it added, we renew our commitment to support the Libyan elections and our readiness to support and strengthen the existing measures to bring another Libya to safety and stability.
