Head of Electoral Commission meets Ambassador of the European Union to Libya.

 Tripoli, 22 December, 2021 (Lana) - Chairman of the Board of the High National Elections Commission, Imad Al-Sayeh, met, Wednesday, the European Union Ambassador to Libya, Jose Antonio Sabadell, and his accompanying delegation at the commission’s headquarters in Tripoli.

 The meeting reviewed developments of the electoral process according to the current political data, and the level of operational progress made by the commission to fulfill its responsibilities in consolidating the democratic path. The meeting also discussed the file of technical and advisory support provided by the European Union Mission to support the electoral process. Sabadell reiterated the European Union's support for the Libyan people to cross this stage and move towards a future of peace and stability.
