Williams met with President of the High Council of State, Khaled Al-Mashri, in Tripoli on Tuesday. The meeting focused on developments of the situation in Libya, especially with regard to the electoral process.
"In the meeting with the President of the High Council of State, Khaled Al-Mashri, we discussed the latest developments in Libya, and we exchanged views on the way forward, with regard to the electoral process, and there was an emphasis on the need to respect the Libyan people's demands for free, fair, and credible elections, Williams tweeted after the meeting.
