Pulbished on:BRUSSELS, 13 December, 2021 (Lana) - The European Union foreign ministers meeting in Brussels unanimously agreed Monday, at the Union headquarters in Brussels, to impose a package of sanctions against the Russian Wagner Group, which deploys mercenaries that destabilizes Libya, Syria, Ukraine and several African countries.

A European source confirmed that the Wagner Group is present in 23 countries in sub-Saharan Africa, where Russia is present, especially in Mali and the Central African Republic, and is also interfering in Libya, Syria and Ukraine.
