France 24 Radio and Television quoted the unnamed official as telling reporters, before the start of the conference, that there were some parties willing to exploit any ambiguity to support their own interests.
"It is clear that they are waiting to set a trap for the electoral process and try to derail it, it said. Some 30 countries and organizations are participating in the Paris conference, including libya's neighbors and countries divided over the conflict in Libya, the television said.
