During joint press conference with Egyptian President in Cairo, Romanian President affirms support for stability and democratic transition in Libya.

Cairo, 27 October 2021 (Lana) Romanian President Klaus Iohannis affirmed his country support for stability and democratic transition in Libya, “within the framework of the coalition against ISIS to achieve peace in North Africa and then Europe.”

This came at a joint press conference, President Klaus held with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Cairo on Wednesday.

 For his part, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said that the two sides stated that they look forward for holding elections in Libya on December 24, which would allow the brotherly Libyan people the opportunity to choose a unified government that preserves the security

Stability, unity and sovereignty of Libya.
