Minister of Employment and Rehabilitation discusses aspects of cooperation with United Nations Development Program.

Tripoli, 27 October (Lana) GNU Minister of Employment and Rehabilitation Ali Al Abed Al Rida discussed at the Ministry's headquarters in Tripoli on Wednesday, with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Libya, Marc Andre French, ways to enhance partnership and cooperation between the Ministry and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

The Minister stressed importance of coordination to benefit from international expertise in the field of training and capacity-building in the professional and craft fields required by the local labor market.

For his part, the resident representative of the United Nations Development Program in Libya praised cooperation of the Ministry of Employment and Rehabilitation, and the role it plays through the "national project for rehabilitation and reintegration" that was launched recently.

The UN official confirmed the mission's support for the ministry in a number of programs and projects that would provide job opportunities to achieve stability in Libya, stressing that this would only be done through economic integration programs and that they supported the efforts of the Ministry of Employment and Rehabilitation in the area of rehabilitation and training.
