Undersecretary of Ministry of Interior for Municipality Affairs reviews with southern security directors preparations to secure upcoming elections.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 26 October, 2021 (Lana) - Undersecretary of Ministry of Interior for District Affairs, Brig. Bashir Al-Amin, chaired a broad security meeting that included security directors of "Sirt - Sabha - Rabiana - Murzuq - Wadi Utbah - Traghen - Shati - Sharkia - Ghat - Ubari."
The meeting, which was held at the Undersecretary's office Monday, discussed work progress of these directorates and the efforts being made to maintain security and provide services to citizens.
The meeting also touched on discussing plans and preparations taken to secure the elections and the readiness of security directorates to secure them, in addition to discussing the issue of securing fuel shipments and their arrival in southern Libya.
The meeting reviewed the security situation in the southern region, the problems and difficulties facing the security directorates and the development of solutions to them to ensure the best results and the success of the security workflow in the region.
The Undersecretary stressed the need for cooperation and coordination between all security directorates and other security services affiliated with the ministry to improve the level of security performance and achieve positive results that serve the public interest.
The Undersecretary listened to notes and explanations from the security directors about the work carried out by these directorates and the tasks they were entrusted with, and solutions developed to the problems and obstacles they face in a way that contributes to providing the best services to the public.
