The Libyan people celebrate the tenth Anniversary of Declaration of Liberation.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 23 October 2021(Lana) Today, Saturday, the 23rd of October marks the 10th anniversary of the declaration of liberation, which was achieved on this day in the year 2011, thanks to God and the will of the Libyan people liberation from the autocratic rule and transition to a democratic, civil state a state of institutions and the law, a state in which the people choose who governs them through the ballot box in free and fair elections.
The commemoration of this occasion in which the Libyans sacrificed the most precious of their children's blood in order for the country to enjoy freedom, democracy and justice - this year comes under unified authorities, which Libyans hope that they will be able to restore that huge momentum filled with the spirit of confidence, hope and national unity brought about by the February 17 revolution which culminated on (23 October) with the declaration of liberation in a celebration held in the city of Benghazi.
Ten years after the declaration of liberation, our country is going through an important stage today that requires all of us to unite, and stand together in order to achieve the goals for which the February 17 Revolution was unleashed, and for which the Libyan people offered scores of martyrs to achieve true democracy, establish the rule of law, institutions and human rights, and preserve the independence, sovereignty, security, stability and wealth and dignity of the Libyan citizen.
