Egypt and Germany reaffirmed commitment to move forward political process in Libya.

 Cairo, 19 October, 2021 (Lana) - Egypt and Germany reiterated their affirmation to move forward the political process in Libya, and to hold elections on time next December. This came during a meeting between Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Cairo, during which they discussed the latest developments regarding the Libyan crisis.

 The two parties agreed on the need to move forward the political process in Libya, by holding the elections on time, and the exit of all mercenaries and foreign forces from the country.
