During his meeting with Al-Manqoush, the Saudi Foreign Minister expresses his country's support for the Libya Stability.
Pulbished on:Riyadh, October 1, 2021 (LANA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla Al-Manqoush, met Thursday in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with her Saudi Counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud.
During this, Al-Manqoush reviewed the contents of the Libya Stability Initiative, as the first purely Libyan initiative launched by the National Unity Government to achieve stability in Libya in its political, military, security and economic aspects, and Libya’s determination to chair and organize an international conference at the end of next October to actually start implementing its provisions, based on the outputs of Berlin Conferences 1 and 2 and Security Council resolutions 2570, 2571.
In this regard, the Minister invited her Saudi counterpart to participate in this international conference.
For his part, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud expressed his country’s full support for everything that aims to achieve stability in Libya, expressing his support for the Libya stability initiative as a purely Libyan initiative aimed at achieving stability, security and peace in Libya and achieving the aspirations of the Libyan people, in development and construction.
The meeting also dealt with stressing the importance of coordinating positions towards issues of common concern, as well as the importance of activating the joint agreements previously concluded between the two countries, and enhancing prospects for cooperation in all fields.
At the end of the meeting, the Saudi minister expressed his country’s full support for all efforts aimed at achieving stability in Libya, stressing that Libya’s capabilities qualify it to overcome its crisis and achieve prosperity for its people, stressing that his country is ready to provide the necessary support and support the Libyans’ efforts towards stability and development.
