Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Follows up on Libyan Investments in Central African Republic.
Pulbished on:Bangui, 6 September 2021(Lana) Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs Mohamed Issa concluded a visit to the Central African Republic during which he inspected Libyan investments in Bangui as part of Government efforts to keep an eye on Libyan investments and assets abroad.
The Undersecretary held a meeting with the President of Central African Republic Faustin-Archange Touadéra in the presence of Prime Minister Henri Marie Dondra and the Foreign Affairs Minister, to discuss reactivation of the Sahel-Sahara Community and the bilateral cooperation agreement between Libyan and the Central African Republic over millions-worth of Libyan investments.
The Undersecretary was handed the possession of the Libya Arab Africa Investment Co (Laaico), and also inspected land and property owned by the Libyan state in Central African Republic.
