Libya will produce two million barrels of oil per day if Parliament agrees to allocate $1.1 billion for sector.
Pulbished on:Tashkent 5 September, 2021 (Lana) - Minister of Finance of the Government of National Unity, Khaled Al-Mabrouk, confirmed that Libya’s oil production may rise to two million barrels per day by the end of 2022, if it is approved to grant the oil sector and its industries an amount of 1.1 billion dollars (one thousand and one hundred million), which was allocated in the budget.
This came in a statement made by Minister Al-Mabrouk to Arab News, while attending the annual meeting of the Islamic Development Bank, which is being held in the Uzbek capital Tashkent.
