For Second Week 3 Million Capital Inhabitants without Water as Armed Men Cut off Supply.

Pulbished on:

Tripoli, 19 August 2021(Lana) Despite local condemnation and also by the UN Mission in Libya of the cut off of water supplies being a crime against humanity, the capital Tripoli and surrounding areas, where 3 million inhabitants live, still are without water, and worse still is there is no indication of an imminent end of the crisis, and that the armed outlaws who cut off the service will allow the flow of water return back.

Residents called by the Libyan news agency, from different walks of life, expressed deep dismay and frustration, asking whether they can expect water supply to be resumed promptly to the capital, and demanding that an end must be put to this futile and irresponsible play by a gang of outlaws, which threaten the lives of millions of men, women and children.
