Erdogan and Al Dbeiba Agree on Holding Second Meeting of Strategic Cooperation Council in Tripoli in Presence of President Erdogan.

Istanbul, 8 August 2021(Lana) A session of talks was held yesterday by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Head of the Government of National Unity in Libya Abdul Hamid Al Dbeiba.

The meeting was attended by Governor of the Central Bank of Libya Al Sidiq Al Kabir, and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Adel Gomoa.

The meeting was attended on the Turkish side by the Finance Minister, Governor of the Turkish Central Bank and the Head of Intelligence.

There was an agreement, at the meeting, to hold the next meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council in Tripoli in presence of the Turkish President.

Return of Turkish companies to work in Libya was discussed at the meeting, as well as resolving of outstanding issues especially those related to letters of credit and outstanding debts.
