Lana Correspondent: Movement between Abu Grain and Al Jofra Back to Normal after Opening of Coastal Highway.

Al Jofra, 7 August 2021(Lana) Lana correspondent has reported that movement between areas of Abu Grain and Al Jofra was back to normal, and residents of the area were going about their daily businesses after opening of the coastal highway between Sirte and Misrata, a commercial lifeline between east and west of Libya.

Local sources told Land correspondent that the road linking these areas, and Al Jofra to the southern region would also be re-opened which will have a positive impact on movement of persons and goods.

Residents of Zamzam, Al Hisha, Wadi Bay and Abu Njeim are excited to see the road reopened, being a means by which they go about their businesses and travel north for medical treatment or even to go to swim in the Mediterranean Sea, the sources said.

Work on removing dire barriers in Al Gadahiya and Zamzam South is continuing at pace in anticipation of opening the road between Al Hisha Abu Grain and Al Jofra, they added.
