Libyan Political Dialogue Forum Meets to Discuss Outcome of Differences-Bridging Committee over Constitutional Basis.

Tripoli, 6 August 2021(Lana) The UN Support Mission in Libya UNSMIL has announced that the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum will meet on August 11, to discuss Differences-Bridging Committee’s outcome of talks on the Constitutional Basis.

‘The meeting will tackle what the Bridging Committee has come up with so far, and what needs to be done next, following the talks that the Committee had on the 16, 17 , and 30 of July and August 2, and which produced four proposals on the constitutional basis for Dec. 24 elections, UNSMIL said.

It said the Head of UNSMIL Jan Kupis has addressed a letter to the Political Forum with the 4 proposals on the constitutional basis brought forward by the Bridging Committee.
