Tripoli, August 3, 2021 (LANA) - Minister of Health Ali Al-Znati reviewed with the Ambassador of the State of Malta to Libya, Charles Saliba, areas of health cooperation between the two sides and ways to enhance them.

During their meeting on Monday, the two sides discussed plans and programs for the file of confronting the emerging corona pandemic and the file of vaccinations.

They also discussed areas of health cooperation represented in benefiting from training programs for medical and paramedical personnel; Especially with regard to specialized nursing, the exchange of technical visits and the twinning of medical centers and hospitals.

The Maltese ambassador stressed his country's readiness to make efforts and harness them to cooperate in the health field, especially the file of confronting the Corona pandemic.
