Al Dbeiba Discuss with UN Secretary General Developments in Libya, Elections and Withdrawal of Mercenaries.

New York, 16 July 2021(Lana) Head of the Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Al Dbeiba discussed with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres here on Thursday, after the Security Council’s meeting on Libya, situation in the country, Covid 19, elections and withdrawal of mercenaries.

Government Communication Office said ‘the meeting focused on latest developments in Libya, human rights and the Corobnavirus pandemic.’

They also discussed how the international community can assist Libya to proceed towards stability, conduct elections, whereby Al Dbeiba stressed importance of international partnership to assist Libya to get rid of mercenaries and foreign fighters.
