Tripoli, July 14, 2021 (LANA) - The members of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi and "Moussa Al-Koni", heard today, Wednesday, a briefing presented to them by the Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs in the Government of National Unity, Chairman of the Ministerial Committee concerned with the support and success of the December 24 elections, Mr. Walid Al-Lafi. On the tasks entrusted to the committee, including communication with state institutions and the High National Elections Commission, to ensure that the elections are held on time.

 During the briefing, it was stressed the continuation of cooperation between the Presidential Council and the Government of National Unity to ensure the success of the committee's work, which will contribute to holding the elections next December.

Al-Koni, who is in charge of the elections file, stressed the importance of continuous consultation with the Presidential Council and putting it in the form of the committee's work to provide it with support so that it can perform the tasks assigned to it.
