Al-Koni calls on the people of Fezzan to form an effective body with a share in drawing a road map for Libya and the south.

Tripoli, 11 July, 2021 (Lana) - Member of the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, described southern Libya as a victim of political and military conflicts in Libya, because he was never a party to them.

In an interview, Saturday, during a gathering of the people of Fezzan residing in Greater Tripoli, Al-Koni stressed the importance of creating centers of pressure on the authority that defend the rights of the people in southern Libya who were cruel to nature, and successive governments, and who have long suffered from marginalization and neglect, and it is time for the state to amend among its citizens.

Al-Koni welcomed this gathering of the people of Fezzan, which would come up with initiatives that push towards removing some of the problems that the region suffers from, through coordination with the executive authorities and alerting to the needs of the region.

In his speech during this gathering, which was attended by Deputy Prime Minister for the South, Ramadan Boujnah, pointed out the importance of coming up with an executable vision, and the formation of a permanent and effective body that represents all the components of Fezzan and helps and contributes to drawing a road map for what Libya and the southern region need.

In his speech, a member of the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, urged the people of the south to prepare for the elections, as it is the only path that will lead Libya out of its crisis, alerting them to their responsibility in electing the best and appropriate person, and in choosing those who will give them confidence through the ballot boxes to reach the decision-making authority.
