The head of the national unity government meets with the Tobruk Municipal Council and discusses with it the city's needs.
Pulbished on:Tobruk, July 4, 2021 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdel Hamid Dbaiba and his accompanying delegation met today, Sunday, with the President and members of the Tobruk Municipal Council.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister listened to the city's needs, and considered what could be implemented urgently and what was required to approve the budget.
The meeting touched on a number of issues related to providing some needs in several areas, including health, which relate to equipping the health center with some sensitive and important devices, as well as sending children with cancer for treatment abroad who need spinal cord transplantation.
The meeting also touched on the completion of some projects, including the power station, which needs the amount of 30 million dinars to complete field work and install the first and second turbines and insert them into the network by the end of the year, projects related to water and sanitation, including providing potable water, and projects related to agriculture and livestock, such as providing subsidized quantities of fodder to support livestock breeders, equipping the Security Directorate with equipment and providing it with 15 cars, completing five schools in the city, and completing the ongoing work on the Corniche as soon as possible.
At the end of the meeting, the Prime Minister promised to support the municipality and help it solve its urgent challenges and meet a number of needs as much as possible in the absence of an approved budget.
