Italian Foreign Minister: GNU Government Restores Confidence in me of Libya’s Political Stability Which I lost for a Year.

Rome, 4 July 2021(Lana) Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio said Italy was the only European country that did not close its embassy in Tripoli, and one year ago I wasn’t sure of political stability in Libya, but now the country has the Government of National Unity, and an interlocutor with whom one can talk.’

The Italian ANSA News Agency quoted Di Maio as saying ‘because Libya is a gateway of Europe to Africa and the other way around, it’s important to continue investing in Libya, it is always the strategic asset and geography does not change.
