French UN Permanent Representative: Libya is France’s Priority during Security Council Chairmanship.

Paris, 3 July 2021(Lana) France has announced that it intended to concentrate on Middle East issues particularly Libya, Syria, and Yemen during its chairmanship of the UN Security Council in July.

This was articulated by French Permanent Representative Nicolas De Rivière at a press conference on Friday.

‘As you know, generally the situation is fragile, either speaking about Libya, Syria, or Yemen or any other region. In July we will focus particularly on that region’, he said.
