Libyan Coast Guard Aborts Attempt to Migrate to Europe.

Tripoli, 7 June 2021(Lana) A boat belonging to the Libyan Coast Guard on Monday rescued 59 illegal migrants of different African nationalities as they attempted to cross to European shores.

A spokesman for the Libyan Navy said the Navy boat Obari launched the rescue operation following an SOS the migrants sent.

The migrants were landed at Tripoli Navy base, before they were taken an Anti-Illegal Migration Body which will oversee their returning to their original countries.
