In its emergency meeting: The Presidential Council forms a committee to collect information about the bombing that targeted a security checkpoint in Sebha, and to reveal those involved in it, prosecute them and bring them to justice.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 7 June, 2021 (Lana) - The Presidential Council decided to form a committee headed by the Minister of Interior, with the membership of the head of the General Intelligence Service, and the coordinator of the Counter-Terrorism Office, to collect information about the bombing operation that targeted a checkpoint of the Sebha Security Directorate and to reveal those involved in it, prosecute them and present them to justice.
The Council also decided, in its emergency meeting, which was attended by the head of the General Intelligence Service, to provide the necessary support and urgent needs to the security services in the south, and to develop mechanisms and plans to combat terrorism in all regions of Libya.
The Presidential Council renewed its condemnation of the terrorist attack that claimed the martyrs of duty, stressing that such crimes will not go unpunished.
