UN Special Envoy to Libya Praises Ministry of Interior Efforts to Secure Elections.

Tripoli, 27 May 2021(Lana) UN Special Envoy to Libya Jan Kupis has had a meeting with the Interior Minister Khalid Mazen with whom he discussed efforts by the Interior Ministry to secure Dec. 24 elections.

Kupis praised efforts by the Ministry to combat irregular migration. He and Mazen stressed the need to address all aspects of irregular migration including arrangements for returning migrants to their homelands in coordination with their governments.
