Al Sayeh: Elections Will be Conducted at Set Time.

Tripoli, 16 May 2021(Lana) President of the High National Election Commission HNEC Emad Al Sayeh said he expected the Commission to wrap up preparations for the elections by June 15.

The next step will see the Commission heading to execution as of July, by starting importing election material and voting equipment, Al Sayeh said, adding that he expected the elections to be conducted at the set time.

Government’s support for the Commission is based on approval of the state budget, Al Sayeh said, indicating that some Government officials have offered to contribute to the success of the elections.
