Rome, April 29, 2021 (LANA) - The commander of Operation Irini, to monitor the arms embargo on Libya, "Fabio Agostini," said that the European air and sea operation "is working day after day for stability and security in the central Mediterranean, which is at an equal distance from the warring parties." in Libya.

 Agostini added, in a seminar, quoted by the Italian Nova news agency, that "Irini is part of the political process that paved the way with the Berlin Conference on political, military, economic and humanitarian tracks to end the crisis in Libya."
