Dr. Imad Al-Sayeh, Chairman of the Electoral Commission’s Board, is following up with the British Ambassador to Libya the developments of the electoral process scheduled to take place next December.

Tripoli, April 29, 2021  (LANA) - The Chairman of the Board of the High National Elections Commission, Dr. Imad Al-Sayeh, today, Thursday afternoon, received the Chargé d'Affairs of the United Kingdom Embassy in Libya (Katie English), as part of the international community's support for the electoral process in Libya.

The meeting, which took place at the Office of the Commission’s Council, discussed the developments of the electoral process scheduled to take place next December, the level of the commission’s readiness to fulfill its responsibilities in consolidating the democratic path, and the support and expertise that can be provided in the field of election management and implementation.
