Tripoli, April 10, 2021 (LANA) - The UN envoy to Libya, Jan Kubis, has renewed the commitment and support of the UN mission fully to all solutions that lead to holding national elections on time during the month of December, so that the Libyan people can choose their representatives and restore the democratic legitimacy of their institutions.

Kubis also pledged, in his closing speech during the meeting of the legal committee emanating from the Forum for Political Dialogue in Tunis, to continue working with “state institutions and the national unity government to urge them to provide the necessary support to the High National Elections Commission to implement the electoral process.”
