Head of National Unity Government, Minister of Defense Calls for Army Capable of Ensuring Sovereignty of State.

Tripoli, 31 March 2021(Lana) The Head of National Unity Government, Minister of Defense Abdul Hamid Al Dbeiba has called on heads of departments at the Defense Ministry to better their performance, to create a Libyan Army capable of ensuring the sovereignty of the state and loyal to Allah and the homeland.

This came at a visit Al Dbeiba made to the Defense Ministry headquarters where he met with some of its officials, according to the Ministry’s official website.

The Defense Ministry officials paid tribute to the effort of the Head of NUG to unify the Libyan territories and ensure the peace and security of the Libyan people.

The meeting centered on several issues concerning the Defense Ministry.
