Italy calls on Europe to help the national unity government to embark on the path of stability and development that the Libyans seek.

Rome, March 26, 2021 (LANA) - Italy has called on Europe to help the national unity government on the path of stability and development sought by the Libyans.

     The Italian call came from the Deputy Foreign Minister, Marina Sereni, in statements by her that were quoted by the Italian agency, Nova, on Friday.

Sereni said that Italy and France have overcome the contradictions on the Libyan file, and now there is a common line for Europe to ensure the stability of Libya.

The Italian official considered that there are opportunities today, thanks to the new government and the upcoming elections on December 24, according to the Italian agency.

The Italian official stressed the need to help the new Libyan government to walk on the path of stability and development that the Libyans demand.
