Head of Information foundation Issues Decision Establishing Management Committee for Libyan News Agency.

Tripoli, 22 March 2021(Lana) The President of Information Foundation Mohamed Baio issued decision No. 65 of 2021 to establish a management committee to run the Libyan News Agency to be chaired by Abdul Baset Abu Daiya, incumbent Director General and membership of Ibrahim Al Mejbari who will act as the General Director and Mas’oud Ahmed as a member of the committee.

The second article of the decision provided for the committee to assume all the authorities of previous general directors of the Libyan News Agency, and undertake to propose work mechanism and assign duties by virtue of a decision to be issued by the President of the Foundation.

According to the 3rd article, the Committee can take all measures which it deemed necessary to restructure the agency in accordance with stipulations of the decision No. 64 of 2021.
