Return of Foreign Embassies to Tripoli.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 21 March 2021(Lana) The meeting which Malta’s Ambassador Charles Saliba had with the President of Presidency Council Mohamed Al Mnefi and his two deputies Musa Al Koni and Abdullah Al Lafi focused on return of the Maltese Embassy to work from Tripoli, which is anticipated in the coming days to facilitate visas for Libyan citizens.
A statement issued by the Presidency Communication Office said the meeting also dealt with bilateral relations, importance of establishment of peace and stability in Libya and upgrading exchange between the two countries.
Meanwhile, a spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said Thursday Russian Charge D’affairs liaised with the Head of the National Unity Government Abdul Hamid Al Dbeiba and a number of Ministers to discuss possible return of Russian Embassy to work from Tripoli.
