Activities of Corona Pandemic National Conference continue to hold its sessions for the second day in a row.

Tripoli, 15 March, 2021 (Lana) - For the second consecutive day, the activities of the National Conference for the Coronavirus Pandemic, held at Rexis Hotel in the capital, Tripoli, continued.

The activities of the conference today, Sunday evening, which is supervised by the Ministry of Health, the National Center for Disease Control, and the Scientific Advisory Committee for the Coronavirus Pandemic, witnessed many virtual scientific lectures regarding the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic 19 and 20. Dr. Murad Al-Qurio made presentation under the title “Developments and stages of the emerging Covid 20 treatment,” in which many topics were discussed, including: the stages of clinical trials to develop a new drug or vaccine, understanding the biology and pathophysiology of infectious diseases, in addition to reused medicines, and enabling factors. Rapid reuse of medicines.

 Dr. Ayman Samir also delivered virtual scientific lectures under the title “The use of anticoagulants for patients with Corona virus,” in which many topics were discussed, including the indications for the use of anticoagulants, indications for preventing blood clotting for Covid 19 patients, in addition to the mechanism for preventing blood clotting for Covid 19 patients .

At the conclusion of the evening session of the National Conference on the Coronavirus Pandemic, on its second day, Professor "Omar Al-Mukhtar" gave a virtual scientific lecture entitled "The Use of Experimental Antibiotics for Covid 19 Patients" which focused on several axes, including: the bacteria that cause pneumonia for Covid 19 patients, and the selection of appropriate antibiotics For the sick. The activities of the conference on its second day were attended by a group of professors and doctors from all sectors, whether private or public, who worked during the past year to confront the Corona epidemic and reach a minimum of its spread in the country.
