The 5 + 5 Joint Military Committee holds its third meeting this evening in Sirte

    Sirte, 14 March, 2021 (Lana) - The 5 + 5 Joint Military Committee will hold its third meeting this evening, Sunday, in Sirte.

     The correspondent of the Libyan News Agency said that the members of the committee from the eastern region arrived in Sirte, while the members of the western region will arrive this afternoon.

   The reporter explained that the committee’s meeting session will discuss what has been agreed upon and follow up in previous meetings regarding the mechanisms for implementing the permanent ceasefire that was signed in Geneva on October 23, 2020, in addition to discussing and studying the terms of the agreement related to the report on removing mines and war remnants in preparation for the opening of the coastal road between Sirte. Misurata and the expulsion of foreign mercenaries from Libyan lands, and other items were agreed upon.
