Sfax hosts the Tunisian-Libyan Economic Forum.

Tripoli, March 12, 2021 (LANA) - The Tunisian-Libyan Economic Forum launched its activities yesterday under the slogan (Forum of Hope and Challenge for Building an Integrated Economy).

  The launch of the activities of this forum was attended by the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Marine Resources, the Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation and the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and on the Tunisian side, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad, the President of the Tunisian-African Business Council, the mayor of Sfax and a group of experts and economists from both countries.

The Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation, Al-Mahdi Al-Amin, participated in a speech in which he emphasized the depth of the Libyan-Tunisian relations and the common ties linking these two countries in all fields.

In his speech, he called for strengthening and revitalizing trade exchange between the two countries and supporting partnership in the agricultural sector and joint construction to develop the public works sector, roads and other commercial activities.
