Tripoli, March 12, 2021 (LANA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the National Accord Government –NAG- congratulated the Libyan people for granting majority confidence to the government of national unity headed by Abdel Hamid Dbaiba.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also expressed its gratitude to the members of the dialogue committee and the United Nations Support Mission in Libya for their contribution to drawing the features of the next phase and developing a political roadmap that led to the selection of a new government that brings together the various spectrums of the Libyan people to stand as a unified impenetrable block in front of attempts to sow discord, stoke discord and divide the homeland.

     The ministry wished the new government success and meeting the needs of the citizen and progress, and to fulfill the presidential and parliamentary elections on the date of December 24th.
