Tripoli, March 10, 2021 (LANA) - The Ambassador of the European Union to Libya, "Jose Sabadell," congratulated the government of national unity, headed by Abdel-Hamid al-Dbaiba, for granting confidence from the House of Representatives.

 “Congratulations to Libya on this truly historic day. The new unity government can count on the full support of the international community, especially the European Union.”

He added, “Everyone supports the goals of the new Libyan government; Of peace, stability and prosperity. Reconciliation, improving basic services and preparing for elections will be central challenges.
