Prime minister of the national unity government is making an inspection tour inside the city of Sirt.

Sirt, March 10, 2021 (LANA) - Mr. Abdel Hamid Al-Dbaiba, head of the national unity government, accompanied by the Speaker of Parliament, the First Vice President of the Presidency Council and a number of members of Parliament, made an inspection tour inside the city of Sirt to find out the ruins of the destruction that the city witnessed during the liberation war Against the Islamic State.

The tour included Al-Manara neighborhood, Giza Al-Bahariya, district 656, residential areas 1 and 2, Al-Za’afaran neighborhood, and Al-Gharbia region, which were affected by this war that ‘’Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous’’ forces fought against this terrorist organization.

The Prime Minister and his companions listened to a number of citizens in the Manara neighborhood and Giza about the destruction of buildings and facilities, calling for the speedy reconstruction of the city.

The people and notables of the regions covered by the tour welcomed the visit of the Prime Minister and expressed their congratulations for granting him the confidence of the House of Representatives.

It is worth noting that the forces of Al-‘’Bunyan Al-Marsous’’ fought a fierce war against ISIS in its stronghold of Sirte in 2016, during which it paid hundreds of martyrs so Libya, the Middle East and southern Europe, to get rid of the attacks of this terrorist organization.
